It’s become a tradition that I write a blogpost on my students’ mistakes when writing every now and then. As an example, you can take a look at these past pots:
The collection of mistakes found on this new presentation has been gathered from a story written last week. I’m a bit upset because mistakes are repeated over and over again, and most of the slides of this presentation have been copied from previous presentations .
Fortunately, other mistakes have never been repeated again. I wish next time I’m luckier and I have to start my presentation from scratch.

It’s curious, but every year I see that different students tend to make the same mistakes over and over again. Therefore I’ve created this presentation putting together the mistakes of previous students and the mistakes of this year’s students. If you want to check the other presentations, you can check Frequent Mistakes and Frequent Mistakes 2.
Other teachers have had the same idea I had, and have made other compilations with common mistakes. Here you can see a very good one, which comprises a list full of different examples that all of us know. It’s located in the blog English as a Second Language, that has been mentioned in our blog before.
Anyway, read the following presentation and take notes. You can even download it if you want to.
See you soon!

I know you love the wonderful world of prepositions. So do I. Well, I’ve found these two wonderful presentations about the prepositions we have to deal with and I would like to share them with you. They appear in the web Slideshare, a place where you can find all kinds of slideshows or presentations about different topics. You can also upload your own presentations and share them with the world. I was going to preper a presentation for you, but then I remembered this wonderful site and found them ready for me.
After watching the presentations, you can also practice with some online activities like the ones you can find in the site English as a Second Language, where you can also find great explanations. Here, in the site Eslpartyland you also have more online activities on prepositions.
All this information, apart from you can find in your grammar book and in your coursebook, should be enough for you not to have problems with these prepositions anymore. Bye!
