Here’s a great video from the Real English series about asking for directions in a town.  This time the English you hear is British.  Notice the opening question is ‘Could you tell me the way to…?’  There are many different ways to ask for directions.  In class we practised ‘How do I get to…?’  Both expressions are correct.  Of course, if you go blank, then ‘Where is…?’ is OK, but of course, the person could just say the name of a street and not the directions.  Enjoy the video and see how many expressions you understand.  The second half of the video is with subtitles so you can check what you think you heard.
